It’s going down! GAMeTILLDAWN is proud to host it’s second tournament of Zen Studios’ beautiful and addictive game: Marvel Pinball. This time around we have a new format and it’s taking place on the mysterious Moon Knight table! We’re going for a more involved style this time around and hope that we can maximize the use of all the features Zen has incorporated into the game. So, let’s get to the layout of this exciting tournament:
- Date: May 20, 2012
- Time: 11:05 A.M. EST
- Style: 1 vs 1 tournament / Rounds–Best of 3
- Arena: Moon Knight table, default settings
- Elimination: Single
- Options: *Camera’s enabled
The flow of the tournament will be determined by the **round a player is in.
- Round 1 consists of 5 min. matches with 0% penalty; players will get to prove they “know” the table.
- Round 2 consists of 5 min. matches with 10% penalty; mistakes may be the difference between taking a match.
- Round 3 consists of 5 min. matches with 25% penalty; slip up and players will be needing to succeed at one of the table’s challenges.
- Final Round is a gauntlet to 10 million points with 100% penalty; prove that reaching 10 mil. on the 1st ball is a breeze.
How will these be enforced? Well I’ll be playing host to each match-up, hopefully getting to know each of you! We are aiming to foster a different style of play for each round, since the tournament is focused on a specific table.
So what’s the prize for winning this tournament?! The prize is none other than a free code for Zen’s upcoming release: Avengers Chronicles!! Yes, you heard correct. We love hosting events and hope that you’ll join in and battle it out for the chance to win this great prize from Zen Studios.
*If you are going to use your camera, please be mindful of your background noise! Don’t blast the scene, it will get you disqualified. Also, be presentable.
**Victory per match within each round, except the Final Round, will be determined by the highest score at the end of the time limit.
Format of tournament is subject to change, pending changes in tournament seeding allotment. Also, leave your handle in the comments section of registration.
